“Camp is honestly the best part of my summer every year. I love the counsellors, the activities, the friendships, and especially the worships. I never thought I would enjoy something like this, but now it’s the highlight of my year. Camp feels like a place where you can be yourself, grow closer to God, and make memories that last long after summer ends. I can’t wait to come back every year!”

 Mission

At Camp Woody Acres, we create a place where everyone belongs, where the love of Jesus is shared freely, and where lifelong friendships are built. Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, we use outdoor adventures and fun activities to help campers grow spiritually, socially, and personally. We are committed to making lasting memories, deepening faith, and inspiring a lifelong connection with God, others, and the natural world.

PRICING AND SUBSIDIES

At Camp Woody Acres, we wholeheartedly believe that camp should be a joyful experience for everyone. We know that financial challenges can sometimes make attending summer camp feel out of reach, and we want to assure you that we’re here to help. When we set our prices, we carefully consider various factors, including the costs of running the camp, the options available in Newfoundland, and our commitment as a non-profit organization. Your ability to participate means the world to us, and we want to support you in any way we can.
That’s why this year, we have taken steps to lower our costs to make camp more affordable. We also offer a “pay as you can” option until July 1, to further ease any financial strain.
As a Mission Church, we consider ourselves fortunate to subsidize many camp expenses, including staffing, facility upkeep, supplies, insurance, and food, to make camp accessible for as many families as possible.
However, we recognize that some families may still find these costs challenging. We genuinely want your children to have the opportunity to attend camp and experience all it has to offer. If finances are a concern, we encourage you to reach out to your local church, talk to family and friends, save up birthday money, or look into local fundraisers or grants that might help make attending camp feasible.
We believe that the investment you make in this experience will bring eternal memories and joys to your summer. Hope to see you there!
